Clinic Details

Lopez Clinic

The Lopez Clinic saw a total of 20 dental patients, receiving crucial dental care services ranging from check-ups to extractions. Additionally, the dental hygiene team attended to 8 patients, providing preventive measures to promote oral health. On the medical front, 15 adult patients and 6 pediatric patients were treated, addressing a spectrum of medical needs. The dispensing of 22 pairs of reading glasses and 43 medications further contributed to enhancing the overall health and well-being of the Lopez community.

LSI Clinic

Regrettably, the LSI Clinic mission was canceled due to issues that arose related to a lack of staffing/airplanes, necessitating the decision to prioritize the Lopez Clinic and concentrate resources where they could be most effective.

Challenges

The most significant challenge during this mission was the cancellation of a physician, interpreter and chiropractic doctors. The decision was made in response to the lack of seats in the planes, emphasizing the importance of adaptability in the face of unforeseen circumstances. Despite this setback, the team remained resilient and focused on maximizing the impact at the operational clinic.

Christmas Party at Mulege

The annual Christmas party for Hotel Serenidad employees’ children was a resounding success, spreading joy and festive cheer among the young ones. The event featured a variety of activities and treats, creating lasting memories for the children and their families.

Gift Distribution

One of the main highlights of the Christmas party was the distribution of gifts to the children. A total of 25 children received backpacks filled with fun and age-appropriate gifts. The excitement and joy on their faces were truly heartwarming, capturing the spirit of the holiday season.

Papá Noel (Santa Claus) Appearance

The role of Papa Noel was brilliantly played by Paul Rowley, who added an extra layer of magic to the event. Paul’s portrayal of Papá Noel was adored by all the children, creating a magical atmosphere as he interacted with each child and distributed gifts. His commitment to the role and the joy he brought to the children made him the star of the evening.

Cupcakes and Hot Cocoa

To add to the festive atmosphere, cupcakes and hot cocoa were served, delighting the children with sweet treats. The combination of warm cocoa and delicious cupcakes added to the joyous ambiance, creating a perfect holiday experience for everyone present.

Traditional Pinata

The traditional piñata proved to be a fan favorite once again. Laughter and cheers filled the air as the children took turns trying to break open the pinata, revealing a cascade of candies and surprises. The pinata added an extra element of excitement and fun to the celebration.
