December 2015 Trip Report
FROM OUR PRESIDENT
Good fortune smiled on our December clinic, good traveling weather, a well rounded group of providers and respectable patient turnout when considering we were so close to Christmas. The Aeromedicos completed our provider offering by supplying two dentists and support for them.
As always, the Friday night gift of backpacks to the children of Serenidad employees was a special event. I can give no better accounting then the following written, or perhaps I should say adapted, by our own Toni Bryan:
Twas the night before Christmas, when all through Mulege Not a creature was stirring, not even a mouse; When out on the dirt strip there arose such a clatter, I sprang from the pool to see what was the matter.
Away to the strip I flew like a flash.
When what to my wondering eyes did appear, But a miniature twin engine sled and 4 tiny planes.
With drivers so lively and quick,
I knew they must be the St. Sams.
More rapid than eagles the coursers they came.
I whistled, and shouted, and called them by name:
Now Dennis! Now Charlie! Now Jesse and Al, On Joe! On all you passengers!
With a sleigh full of backpacks and toys, and Saint Nicholas too!
All the gifts were given to the children of Serenidad, The Sams sprang to their sleighs, the team gave a whistle, And away they flew like the down from a thistle.
But I heard them exclaim, as they flew out do sight- Merry Christmas to all, and to all a good night!
The next clinic will be January 15-17 and the schedule calls for both Lopez Mateos and LSI clinics. As of now, I don't think we have any Sams dentists signed up and the Aeromedicos have another commitment. If we are going to have an LSI clinic, we need dentists! Our new dental coordinator, Sherry Cline firstname.lastname@example.org, would really appreciate hearing from you. See you soon!
